School's in for the semester (finally). For some reason Utah State started a week later than everyone else, so this is our first week back. Evan and I only have classes Tuesday and Thursday, so we've been able to spend lots of time together as well as be more flexible with our work schedule. That means more hours at work, which keeps us extra busy. We're taking a tennis class together as well as Anatomy, so that gives us even MORE time to spend together. The only other class I'm taking is Aerobics, which is proving to be an intense workout. I like it because I sleep better at night when I exercise. So, life is busy, but our days are packed with fun and we've gotten this semester off to a great start.
Oh, I forgot to mention our newest activity: babysitting!!! Some of our best friends, Bobby and Morgan had a baby last September, little Robert. Ev and I are privileged enough to get to babysit a couple hours each day while Morgan's in class and Bobby's at work. We're loving it so far and it's a HUGE help in the healing process for us! Thanks go to Bob and Mo for trusting us with their baby! :)
As always, my prayers and love go out to all of you. Especially Sarah B, Sara J, and Jenna K. I've been thinking about you three a lot lately as well as your precious Benton, Carter and Brynn who are friends with Scotlin in Heaven. I hope you're doing well and I pray for you every night!

Oooo, I'm crossing my fingers too! I'm sure he'll get in after all that hard work :) Love you guys!
ReplyDeleteYou've been on my mind a lot too! I keep saying prayers for you as well. Take care, friend! And I can't wait to see what God has in store for you guys!
ReplyDeleteWow, he looks like a doctor already!
ReplyDeleteThanks Whitney! I hope you guys here soon on med school! We need to get together before you guys head out for that! I too have been thinking about you and Scotlin. I made a movie of the pictures of Brynn that I would like to show you sometime.
ReplyDeleteHey Whit, I have a bloggy award for you over on my blog ;) Love ya!
ReplyDeleteEvan you look so professional. you do have the dr look down. Can't wait to here.
ReplyDeleteHey Hey! Scott and I lived right next to Bethesda this summer while we were selling alarms! Its a super fun place to live! You can take the metro for really cheap to DC and there are so many things to do and see! Plus the temple is just minutes away on the freeway! But Missouri would be great too! Just want to you to know that I think about you often and that you're in my prayers. Lots and lots of love!
ReplyDeleteEvan and Whit you are so amazing and we are lucky to have you as our friends. LOVE YOU!
ReplyDeleteWhitney...thank you so much! You were on my mind yesterday. I sure hope you two know how much your Hevanely Father loves you. I don't think we understand how He sees us, at least I know I don't, but I think He knows we're a lot stronger than we think we are. I love you Whitney and am so grateful for your prayers, your friendship, and for your little Scotlin being next to our Benton if it had to happen. You are an amazing girl and an awesome couple! You deserve the greatest of blessings and am grateful things are working out with Evan and Med school. Please know I would love to talk if you ever want to cry, laugh, or just chat.
