Blogging?

My two older sisters are blogging fanatics. At least...they keep up multiple blogs. I admire them, actually, because I'm semi-computer-illiterate, and blogging is the last think I thought I'd get the hang of. We'll take it for a spin and see how it goes.

A little about me, you say? I am a student. Right now my major is Human Movement Science but I won't graduate before we move. I plan on attending nursing school, although I don't know where. We'll find out where we're moving to in the summer and then we'll decide.
I am a wife. My wonderful husband of a year and a half is applying for and interviewing at medical schools around the country, and is waiting to hear back about those. Wherever he gets in is where we'll go.
I am a mother. My sweet baby boy was born in November. I was 8 1/2 months pregnant with him when the cord wrapped around his neck and he passed away before I delivered him. He is my favorite little angel and I feel so blessed to be his mommy.
I am a CNA. I work in a nursing home and rehabilitation center for the elderly. I've worked there for 2 1/2 years and still enjoy it (most days). I'm lucky enough to have my husband working with me for the past 2 years. It's nice to go to work but still be with him. (Especially on the rare occasions they let us work together.)
As far as a first post, I'd say this is pretty good. My sisters will be so proud!

  1. Welcome to the blogging world! Good luck to Evan with the application (and interviewing) process. If he applied to any of the medical schools in the DC area, maybe you guys will join us in our neck of the woods!

  3. Blogging is a great way to journal what is going on. Plus it helps keep people informed when they don't see you often! I wouldn't say I'm a fanatic... (anymore...) ;) Love ya!
